Initially when founded in 2006, the name of the club was Kikwetu Youth Soccer Academy (KYSA). The club then had 9 players. In 2010, the club changed name to Kikwetu FC

The club has grown steadily due to the increased interest in the activities. Today the club has more than 150 players including a girls-team. When we have more resources and coaches we will be happy to include even more children.
